Jovanka Broz, the woman who spent three decades as Yugoslavia's First Lady, but more recently holed up in a crumbling house in isolation and near penury, has died at the age of 88.
President Tito was 32 years senior to his wife, who was first a nurse, then Tito's personal secretary before becoming his wife.
Since Tito's death in 1980, Broz lived hidden away in a dilapidated villa in the Serbian capital, without either a passport or ID.
She has asked to be buried next to Tito.
