The legal team will advocate Slovenia's positions in front of a five-member tribunal. Slovenia and Croatia have already named one arbiter each while three will be selected by consensus from a list provided by the European Commission.

According to the border arbitration agreement, the arbitration tribunal will be established within a month after Croatia signs its EU accession treaty, which it plans to do on 19 December.
