Slovenian Diplomats on Annual Consultation


Heads of Slovenian embassies, consulates and representative offices abroad and senior Foreign Ministry officials are meeting at Brdo estate for annual consultation. The meeting will focus on the foreign policy strategy and economic diplomacy.


The consultation will open with an address by Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec, while President Borut Pahor will address the diplomats in the afternoon.

 

An address by Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek is scheduled for Tuesday, according to a press release from the Foreign Ministry.

 

 

The purpose of the annual consultation is to discuss practical matters of concern to the diplomatic service and topical international policy issues.

 

Efforts to boost economic ties with other nations have been high on the agenda in the past few years.
