The government decided on Thursday to open three new consulates in Turkey and one in Trinidad and Tobago. The consulates will be headed by honorary consuls, the government Communication Office said in a press release.
With this move, Slovenia will get its first consulate in Trinidad and Tobago and its eighth in Turkey.
Apart from existing five consulates across Turkey, Slovenia also has an embassy in Istanbul. The new consulates will be located in the towns of Erzurum (NE), Trabzon (N) and Kayseri in central Turkey.
The consulate in Trinidad and Tobago will be located in the town of Port of Spain (NW).
