Average room prices in Slovenian hotels continue to decline after having dropped 5% in 2013, according to research conducted by a price comparison website.
The average room price stood at EUR 105 last year, down from EUR 110 in 2012 and EUR 118 in 2011, said Tina Radojkovič from Trivago. The Trivago Hotel Price Index is based on a standard double room.
In 2013, the highest room prices were recorded in September during the Eurobasket competition. A double room then cost EUR 118 on average. The lowest price - EUR 97 - was registered in November.
