PM Discussing Anti Crisis Measures With Chamber of Commerce

Bratušek and the representatives of employers are meeting at a time when foreign financial markets and EU institutions are increasing pressure on Slovenia, speculating whether the country would need to ask for a bailout.

The prime minister has however reiterated on several occasions that Slovenia can cope with its financial situation on its own. She has also announced her government's plan to shortly send to parliament a proposal to privatise two to three companies.

The government also intends to consolidate the public finances and go through with the planned reforms, yet Bratušek insists she will present the details once she has got all the relevant figures.

PM Bratušek will be accompanied by Economic Development and Technology Minister Stanko Stepišnik and Agriculture and Environment Minister Dejan Židan.
