A Q&A session with members of the outgoing government will kick off the National Assembly's plenary for May on Monday. Several legislative motions are on the agenda.
Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek will be asked about the financing of subsidies for student transportation, borrowing policy, and the proposal of the opposition that Slovenia's European commissioner be appointed from the ranks of the party which wins the EU election.
The quizzing will be followed on Tuesday by amendments to the act on consumer protection which transpose EU directives in this field, and a bill that would provide social security to professional athletes after they end their career.
On Wednesday, the MPs will debate amendments to the budget implementation act for 2014 and 2015 to allow the Bank Asset Management Company (BAMC) to secure additional money for this year.
The proposal raises the borrowing ceiling for BAMC to EUR 2bn from EUR 1.1bn so that the bad bank can accept non-performing loans from two more banks, Abanka and Banka Celje.
Opposition-sponsored amendments to the central bank act will be on the agenda on Thursday - the last day of the session, but they are unlikely to be passed.
