Spain's Rafael Nadal outclassed rival Novak Djokovic in four sets to claim the French Open in Paris on Sunday.
In a rematch of their 2012 title match, the world number One endured a shaky start and conceded the first set before finding his range, eventually winning through 3-6, 7-5, 6-2, 6-4 in three hours and 31 minutes.
Djokovic, who was aiming to complete a career Grand Slam, had the chance to send the match into a decider before a double-fault handed the championship to the Spaniard.
This result sees Nadal clinch his ninth French Open, becoming the first man to win five in a row.
