Man quarantined in Spain with possible Ebola virus

A man has been admitted to hospital in Spain showing symptoms of the Ebola virus.

Doctors in Alicante say the Nigerian has been quarantined and is in a stable condition.

Samples have been taken from the patient and are being sent to Spain's National Microbiology Centre for analysis.

The patient told doctors that he had arrived in the country a few days ago.

This possible new case, follows the death in Madrid of a Spanish priest, Father Miguel Pajares, who was repatriated from Liberia, where he contracted Ebola while working in a hospital.

He died despite being given an experimental vaccine.
