Ljubljana Airport Operator Transforms into LLC

Aerodrom Ljubljana, the operator of the Jože Pučnik Ljubljana Airport, was transformed into a limited liability company at a general assembly in Brnik on Tuesday.

The decision on the transformation and subsequent delisting from the Ljubljana Stock Exchange came two months after German airport operator Fraport completed the acquisition of an outright stake in the company.

As part of the transformation, current CEO Zmago Skobir was given the nod by the sole owner to take over as general manager of the limited liability company, a statement posted through the Ljubljana Stock Exchange said.

The shareholder meeting also confirmed discharge of liability for the supervisory and management board for last year.

While Skobir will stay on as the director, the remaining members of the management board and supervisory board were let go.

Operations will from now on be overseen by a board of investors consisting of Fraport representatives Pierre Dominique Prümm, Kai Peter Holger Zobel and Gudrun Telöken.

Fraport acquired a majority stake in Aerodrom Ljubljana from the state last September, before acquiring the remaining shares in two steps that were completed in January of this year. It paid EUR 234.4m for the entire stake.
