International Management Teachers Academy (IMTA) successfully started in Bled


This year, 36 participants from 19 countries came to Bled to attend this major European faculty development program, which attracts participants from all over the world.

 

From 10-22 June 2012, 36 participants from 19 countries (Austria, Belarus, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and USA) will have a chance to acquire both general knowledge and skills related to teaching as such, and to improve specific knowledge, skills, and competences related to one of the four different managerial disciplines (Strategic Management, Marketing, Finance/Accounting, Leadership and Change Management) of their individual choice and specialization. They will also enhance their research methodologies for integration of their research efforts into further educational activities, including case writing, course design, and curricula development. In addition, inputs related to other aspects of their profession such as consulting, program management and social

responsibility will be provided.
