Industrial conglomerate Hidria has become a preferred supplier of German engineering and electronics corporation Bosh. The Idrija-based company sees this as an "important competitive advantage" and a confirmation of its quality, especially in the car and industry segments.
Hidria has been cooperating with Bosh, which is the biggest systemic supplier in the global car industry, since 2005.
The two companies are together developing and producing innovative solutions for hybrid electronic engine drives, the steering systems, electro engines for oil burners and electro engines for electrical hand tools.
Hidria currently makes EUR 30m in annual sales with Bosch. As Bosch's preferred supplier it plans to double the sales in the next five years, Hidria said in a press release.
