Officials from Libya's National Transitional Council have announced that the ousted leader Muammar Gaddafi will be buried today in a secret location.
His body and that of his son's Mo'tassim, were removed from the cold store room in Misrata during the night. His other son Saif-al Islam is said to be trying to escape the country.
As some residents tried to return to their homes in Sirte, after the fall of the last Gaddafi stronghold, Human Right Watch has called for an investigation into war crimes. At a hotel in the city the bodies of 53 Gaddafi supporters were found apparently executed.
