Lions Club Ljubljana Iliria organizes charity event Midsummer Night 2012 on Thursday 21 June at 8:30 pm. The event will be held on in the magical garden of villa Podrožnik.
This year, for the twelfth time, Lions Club continues their mission to the selflessly contribute to the moral and social well-being of children in need. This year's role of honorary patron was taken over His Excellency Mr Andrew Page, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Slovenia. This year's Midsummer Night will not only be marked by the sport spirit and the upcoming London Olympics, but it will also, in the spirit of the Victorian era, celebrate the 200th anniversary of birth of the great writer and the Ombudsman Charles Dickens.
